Tuto perles
Cette semaine c'est tuto, fait dans le cadre de l'Association avec plusieurs perles à partir d'une même base dégradée
avant de commencer il faut préparer la base qui est la même pour toutes les perles
Before starting you'll have to prepare the wrapped log which is common to all projects
1 - faire un jouli degradé en epaisseur 4, dans le sens vertica
Make a 2/3 shades skinner blend as per picture, thickness 4
2- faire un boudin de pâte beurk de la largeur du degradé
Roll a log of scrap clay, same width as the log
3) recouvrir le boudin bord à bord
Wrap the scrap clay roll with skinner blend, edge to edge
4 - égaliser la jointure à l'aide d'un mandrin, ici en métal pour faire disparaitre la soudure
Roll a metal mandrel on join to smooth the edges
6 - le cylindre de base est prêt
Your log is ready for further use.
Perles spirales
For English friends : gently roll the wrapped log with both hands to make it look like picture then pinch the edges for removing the excess clay and roll again till you get a perfect shaped bead. Then shape the log to a bead
Again starting from initial log : pinch the edges to close the cylinder. Roll the edges on your work surface as f you were making a lentil, then reduce the log. Step 5 consists in rolling gently one of the edges forth and back to shape the bead.
Again the wrapped log, reduced size, Using a metal mandrel I roll forth and back to shape the bead, on picture it was made first in the middle then on sides to obtain a funny shape.
C'est tout pour aujourd'hui -:)
